    Chapter 5
    Offence Relating to Passport
     

    Section 269/8 Whoever forges the passport in a whole or in part, adds or cuts any statement or amends by any means whatever in the genuine passport in a manner likely to cause damage to other person or people. If that passport is made in order to make anyone believes that it is a genuine passport or for the benefit of any respect, such person commits the passport forgery and shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years and fined from twenty thousand to two hundred thousand baht.

    Section 269/9 Whoever uses or possesses for use the forged passport in accordance with Section 269/8, such person shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years or fined from twenty thousand to two hundred thousand baht or both.

                Whoever sells or possesses selling forged passport or counterfeited in accordance with Section 269/8, such person shall be punished with imprisonment from three to twenty years or fined from sixty thousand to four hundred thousand baht or both.

    Anyone bears more than 2 copies of forged passports according to Section 269/8, it is presumed that the person possesses the passports for sale.

                If the offender in accordance with the first paragraph or second paragraph forges the passport in accordance with Section 269/8, such offender shall be punished in accordance with this Section in the only count.

    Section 269/10 Whoever brings into or sends out of forged passport from Kingdom in accordance with Section 269/8, such person shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years and fined from twenty thousand to two hundred thousand baht.

                If the offender from the first paragraph commits the offence as for the selling, such person shall be punished with imprisonment from three to twenty years and fined from sixty thousand four hundred thousand baht.

    Section 269/11 Whoever has the passport of another person and intends to wrongfully use it in a manner likely to cause detriment to another person or people, such person shall be punished with imprisonment not more than ten years or fined not more than two hundred thousand baht.

    Whoever provides the passport for the offender according to the first paragraph, shall receive the same punishment.

    Section 269/12 Whoever forges the stamp, mark, or imprint used for a stamp for international traveling, shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years and fined from twenty thousand baht to two hundred thousand baht.

    Section 269/13 Whoever uses the forged stamp, mark, or imprint according to Section 269/12, shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years and fined from twenty thousand baht to two hundred thousand baht.

    If the offender from the first paragraph commits the offence as a forgery of the stamp, mark, or imprint, such person shall be punished in accordance with this Section in the only count.

    Section 269/14 Whoever brings into or sends out of forged stamp, mark or imprint according to Section 269/12, shall be punished with imprisonment from one to ten years and fined from twenty thousand baht to two hundred thousand baht.

    Section 269/15 Whoever uses the genuine stamp, mark, or imprint used a stamp for international traveling in a manner likely to cause damage to another person or the public shall be punished two- third of the punishment according to Section 269/13.
